One great thing about Chicago is its transportation. I know many of you have cars, but in Chicago, the public transportation is so easy and accessible. The CTA has trains and buses that operate all throughout Chicago, with several lines and bus routes. Many of these lines operate 24 hours a day, so if you find yourself working at the office late or going out to enjoy the nightlife, there is always a way home for a low price. To take the train, it is $2.25 each way. With the rising gas prices, public transportation is a great way to get around the city. In addition to the CTA, there is the Metra train that can even access the suburbs of Chicago. From our past experiences, both trains have always been reliable so Chicago is a mere train ticket away and at your disposal.
Despite the high gas prices, Chicago can be as expensive or as cheap as you make it. There are amazing restaurants and shopping districts around here. So whether you want to go luxury dining or just want to eat at a quirky restaurant, you have hundreds to thousands to choose from that are all over the city. As for shopping, the best example is the Magnificent Mile which is located on Michigan Avenue. Michigan Avenue thrives with people shopping at places from discount stores to designer brand labels. There is no shortage of places to shop here.
Chicago is also home to many museums, parks, and events. Museums include the Museum of Science & Industry, the Art Institute, the Field Museum, and so many more. My favorite part of Chicago is walking in the Loop or Streeterville at night, looking up at the most beautiful skyline I have ever seen. The Chicago skyline is absolutely breathtaking.
Now, the number one reason to live in Chicago in addition to the amazing places and events around here are the amazing people that live in this city. There are over 2 milllion people in this city, which means there is no lack of people to meet. Despite the fact that the city is so populated, Chicago is as large or as small as you want to make it. All these people come from different backgrounds and interests.
In short, there is no reason to not take advantage of all these condos for sale in Chicago. There are so many reasons to live here and so much to do. With its attractions, shopping, dining, nightlife, people, and various homes to live in, Chicago is arguably the best place to live.
